Dear Münchener: we can try to deny it, to refuse it, to escape from it… but yes, winter is finally here. For those who like to get up super early and go snowboarding enjoy a nice breakfast in a warm cosy café, we would like to invite you to discover a lovely, charming place: Café Lotti. A perfect start to a cold Sunday!

The location: Café Lotti is located between the Ubahn stop Theresienstr. and Stiglmaierplatz, close to the Dachauerstr.  Word of advice: the neighborhood is not the most attractive and the place is a bit small that you might miss it – but you can trust us: it’s worth the search!

The atmosphere: I love fairy tales. I love pink and of course… I love food! Combine the 3 and this is my heaven: Café Lotti! Have you ever felt like being in a doll house?  Colorful and refreshing walls, flowers, pretty white tables and chairs, beautiful ceiling lights worthy of Austrian ballrooms, golden mirrors… Café Lotti  is a real interlude in the middle Munich, and the perfect place for gossip brunch between girls or lovely tête-à-tête with your significant other!

The fffoood: Café Lotti offers a variety breakfasts, lunch and homemade cakes. See the full menu (in German), over here. Where Café Lotti differs from your average café though, is that they take big pride in their suppliers and how their products come from local farmers and producers: cheese from Auntie Bertha, sausage from their friend Franz, cakes made by the mums of the owners – Lotti guarantees top products for all their preparations, a fine thing for the bio addict among us. In terms of prices/quantity, Café Lotti found the sweet spot: good quantities at reasonable prices for the Munich area. And how cool, Café Lotti also sell their homemade jam for you to take home!
