Itxaso Tapas: Munich’s Very First Basque Tapas Bar

Kaixo! Indeed indeed, today we are going to Spain, no wait... today we are going to the Basque Country (Euskadi in Basque, Pais Vasco in Spanish). Do you know what Pintxos means? No need to call a friend, or to ask the public... Pintxos means Tapas in Basque! And if you want to try them out, you won't have to fly to Bilbao since Itxaso Tapas recently opened in the Glockenbachviertel.

Haguruma, a Simple Japanese Restaurant

It's time for sushis this week! Seeing how many sushi restaurants there are in Munich, we wanted to write about one that we think is pretty special. A restaurant that stands out from all running sushis, all you can eat or other high-end, loungy and super expensive sushi places. Eating at Haguruma is a real experience: your dinner will be a really good memory for your taste buds... and for your wallet as well!

Café Pini: Italian & Retro in Glockenbachviertel

You don't realize it but we asked ourselves some pretty hard questions when thinking about our next review. Should we write about a good food delivery service? About best teas and anti-flu infusions? About cheap flights to warmer places? In the end we decided to get back to basics vintage, and show you today our latest catch: Café Pini. An intimate spot for laid back and not too demanding people who will be brave enough to go out despite the arctic temperatures!

Padam padam padaaaam… Paris and its charms: the Seine, the little bistros, the Eiffel Tower, the fashion and most of all the French Cuisine! Rive Gauche, literally "Southern Bank", takes its name after... wait for it... the Southern Bank of the French capital city. Your dear hosts who also happen to be French, always enjoy finding French restaurants in Munich, to remind us of our beloved roots. At Rive Gauche, not only is the food French, but the owners Smina and Arnaud as well! So is Rive Gauche yet another restaurant trying to surf on the French Cuisine wave but not delivering? Let's find out...

Tabula Rasa: Breakfast in Glockenbach

It is Saturday morning, you get up, the weather is good (yes, it can happen even here in Munich!) and the only thing you can think about is... fffoood (What else?!). But where to go for a nice breakfast? Munich doesn’t lack of awesome breakfast locations, but for our first post we decided to write about one of our little favourites: Tabula Rasa in the middle of Glockenbach.
